Whipped butters are amazing on biscuits, toast or pancakes. This cranberry whipped butter is a little sweet, tart and a lot of yum.   Am I the only one still recovering from the holidays? I mean really? Have you noticed that we kick off the holiday season with all the fall festivities and the bam it thanksgiving the bam it is christmas then bam it is New years eve the new years day…… and after that it is like we have to quit the holidays cold turkey (forgive the food pun— I’m a food blogger everything is food related in my world). So allow me to reminisce about one of the best things that I put in my mouth. I have been on a whipped butter train for the last week or so. And I realize that this might be my last chance to post another cranberry themed recipe.I don’t even feel bad about it either. My love for fresh cranberries soon has to go dormant for the next 11 months. I think I have made my stance on whipped butter family clear too. I love whipped butter this cranberry whipped butter takes that adoration out of this world.   Whipped butters are amazing on biscuits, toast or pancakes. We usually have pancakes, eggs, turkey bacon, porridge and fritters. I know it sounds amazing because it is. Jamaicans take food and the holidays very seriously. If you can think of a holiday then we usually have a 5 course dinner to go with it. I kid you not. Whipped butters are amazing on biscuits, toast or pancakes. This recipe is a great way to use up the left over cranberry sauce and if you are like me the extra 5 pounds of butter in the fridge. Don’t tell me that’s just me. Try it on either my Grandma’s Buttermilk Biscuits or My husband’s Fool-Proof Biscuit. Confession: I made them both (as if i needed another excuse) to test them out for you guys. Both are winners!!!! Cranberry Whipped Butter

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Homemade cranberry sauce see link in blog
  • 1 stick unsalted butter softened to room temperature

Instructions

  • Make cranberry sauce and allow to cool.
  • Using an electric mixer, beat softened butter. Then add the cooled cranberry sauce until combined.
  • Use chilled or at room temperature.
