So this recipe starts off with precious corn.
Then you add some good ol’ cream. Don’t listen to anyone- cream of corn should never come from a can. Just trust me. It is better this way.
Then you drop some spice on it. Put some respek on it. So sorry Mom! Which brings me to officially addressing this- I will no longer make Birdman references in my post. Hahahahaha!
Basically you bake it until it gets some brown bits on top and is bubbling with creamy, cheesy, tangy goodness. I mean come on!
No really come on!!!
Around these parts- the corner piece is mine for the taking. I toiled in the kitchen I get that corner piece as my prize. 🙂
See why the corn piece is mine? DO. YOU. SEE. IT?
This 4 ingredient corn casserole recipe is so good you’ll want to scrape the dish clean to get every last bit of caramelized goodness from the dish. I have never had this recipe not be a crowd pleaser.

This 4 Ingredient Corn Casserole recipe is so good you'll want to scrape the dish clean to get every last bit. It has fresh corn with cream & tangy cheese.
- 8 Ears Fresh corn
- 1/2 Cup Heavy cream
- 1 Cup Cheddar Cheese
- 2 Tablespoon Butter
- Pinch of salt and pepper to taste
- Pinch Paprika optional
- Cilantro
-
Remove the corn from the husks. In a large, deep bowl, slice off the kernels of corn. With the dull side of the knife, press and scrape the cob to remove the creamy milk inside, this will thicken the casserole.
Add heavy cream, salt and pepper to taste, a generous amount of paprika and butter; mix well. Pour mixture into a baking dish and cover with shredded cheese. Bake at 350Fº for 30 to 45 minutes or until thoroughly bubbling. You can turn on the broiler to get extra color on the top. Top with chopped cilantro- if ya like.
Let sit for 5 minutes and serve. Enjoy!
