I remember growing up in Jamaica and being surrounded by fruit trees. We had apple trees, cherry trees, plum trees but my favorite tree was always our pmagranete tree. It just always seemed as if we always had pomegranates on the tree. On the weekends my grandmother would kinda banish us t the back yard to play because she needed clean.

My brother and I would hide outside and just gorge ourselves on fruits. I would always head straight to the pomegranate tree. And my brother would head to the orange trees. I decided to make a special drink while my brother is visiting us for Christmas.

So when he decided to visit I had big plans. I really have a ball hanging with him. We usually watch Elf, home alone 1 & 2, and Lethal weapon 1 & 2 (don’t ask me why but this is what we do every Christmas holiday). Mostly because we had tons of VHSs growing up. So over the Christmas break from school my grandma would give us free time watch them.

Everything about this drink excites me- from the tart Pomegranate to the sweet winter oranges to the warming ginger. I love adding ginger to drinks because you get the right amount of spice without it being too over whelming. And adding ginger to drinks helps with the digestion of your food.
